Associating Schools with Calendars

You must associate a school calendar with the school buildings in your school district for accurate attendance totaling. You can also associate multiple school calendars with one school building if that is required in your school district. For example, kindergarten may follow a slightly different calendar schedule than the other grades in the same school. If you do not select a default calendar for the school, GradeBook uses the District Calendar.

1.On the Calendar List screen, click the Schools tab.

The Link Schools with Calendars screen displays.

2.In the Select a School drop-down list, select the school that you want to link to a calendar.

3.In the Default Calendar drop-down list, select the default calendar that you want the selected school to use.

4.(Optional) In the Additional Calendars grid, select the checkbox in the row of any additional calendars the selected school should use.

5.Click Save.
